Hypnotherapy is like meditation with an agenda: change for good.
The unconscious mind collects, stores, and organizes our life experiences and helps regulate many physiological processes. It is estimated that 80-90% of our reactions are rooted in the unconscious mind – meaning it is the key to changing behaviours and negative belief systems. The unconscious mind is constantly in action, playing movies of our life over and over again.
When we quiet down the conscious mind, we can access those movies and change them so they support us rather than keep us in habitual ruts that may no longer be serving us.

The hypnotic state – or trance – is a state we are all familiar with. Arriving home and not remembering the drive, “zoning out” while watching TV, becoming fully engaged in music, deep meditation/prayer, or even the state just before we fall asleep.
Some people are more receptive to trance than others, meaning more easily hypnotised. Your ability to be hypnotised goes hand in hand with your willingness and desire to do so.
